Education is the foundation of human capability and opportunity, yet millions of children with disabilities remain excluded from the systems designed to prepare them for the future. As governments invest in future-ready education systems, disability inclusion must be embedded from the outset - by design and by investment. This session explores how to make that a reality.

Early foundational learning is one continuous pathway in a child's development, with school readiness as a critical bridge to primary education. Drawing on country experience, government leadership and practical solutions, this session shows how investing across this continuum strengthens learning outcomes and children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.

Education has always prepared people for an uncertain future, but AI is fundamentally changing what and how we learn. As knowledge becomes instantly accessible, education must shift from memorization to developing critical thinking, creativity, judgement and lifelong learning. This session concludes the WEF's Education 4.0 Shaping the Future of Learning dialogue series, exploring what education should preserve, transform and reimagine to help people thrive in the age of AI.

Convened by the Regional Literacy Alliance, this session brings together senior leaders from multilateral institutions and civil society to place foundational literacy at the center of the region's development agenda. Speakers will unpack what it takes to design for system ownership and long-term sustainability, built on Can't Wait to Learn experience in Ukraine and Jordan, and beyond.

In a rapidly changing world, the learning outcomes we prioritise will shape the world we live in. So, what student outcomes really matter for the future, and how do we know if we’re making progress?

AI is changing how we learn and work. This session with NFTE, WSI alumni, Aflatoun, and Pearson explores why human skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and purpose matter more than ever, and how entrepreneurship education helps young people build them.
