This session will spotlight the urgent and often overlooked crisis of education inequity in the Global South—a crisis that, if left unaddressed, could deepen inequality, fuel unemployment, and heighten global instability.
Event Description
Drawing parallels with the climate movement and other large-scale systems change efforts, we will:
* Reflect on the long-term consequences of global inaction on education
* Explore the power of collective, systems-focused, movement-led responses
* Imagine what it would take to co-create dignified, future-ready opportunities for one billion children
Through dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning, we will examine how we can catalyze a global movement for education equity—one that leverages leadership, collective action, and systemic transformation to impact a billion children over the next decade.
