Event Description
What if the future of education wasn’t designed for young people but with them? Most education reform remains top down driven by systems and delivered by adults. At the IB, we’re taking intentional steps to shift the center of gravity by amplifying youth voice and agency as we reimagine how education can be designed and delivered.
This community-led, cross-sector dialogue convenes a small, diverse group to explore the many ways education is already evolving through student-driven, future-focused approaches. We’ll hear from those leading this work and learn together how we can continue to deepen and scale this systems-level change.
There are no keynote speeches. Instead, conversations are guided by "catalysts" youth leaders, educators, funders, and changemakers—who bring diverse perspectives and lead collaborative, meaningful exchanges.
We believe education is a shared system, not a separate sector. Change happens when we work together across roles, generations, and experiences.
This dialogue centers on three key themes:
- What meaningful youth engagement looks like?
- Impactful and authentic ways to fund youth initiatives
- The capabilities young people need to lead, adapt, and thrive in a changing world.
This is not a panel or showcase. It’s a working space where young people help shape the systems meant to serve them and where dialogue leads to connection and action.
