Three Things to Know Attending Education House Davos

Article • 12.1.2026

At the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, Education House will bring leaders together around a call to action to secure the human capability that will determine the future of economies, societies, and global stability as AI fundamentally changes how we learn, lead and work.

Education House brings leaders together around a clear call to action: to secure the human capabilities that will define the future of economies, societies, and global stability. As AI fundamentally changes how we learn, lead, and work, education must move to the centre of global decision making. The programme consists of two interconnected, highly interactive sessions, with a networking lunch in between.

The event is co-convened by HundrED, JA Worldwide, and Teach For All. Session partners are Dalberg, Education International, NFTE, Remake Learning, SEK, ShiksaLokam, Teach Billions Fund and Villars Institute. Event media partners are Devex and Diplomatic Courier. The event will be documented, but the discussions will follow Chatham House rules.

1) Two Interactive Sessions

Session #1: What Are the Capabilities Youth Need to Navigate the World Today and in the Future Ahead?

Session #2: How Do We Engage Educators, Business, Government, and Civil Society to Leverage AI for Developing these Capabilities?

Both sessions are designed for active participation. Forty participants will be seated in concentric circles to support dialogue rather than presentations. Facilitators will frame the conversation, followed by a small number of featured inputs, after which the floor is open to all. To ensure broad participation, we ask contributions to be kept to two to three minutes.

Key insights from the discussions will be synthesised into a post-event article. All contributions are treated in line with Chatham House rules, and individual comments will remain anonymous.

Education House is a harassment-free space. We ask all participants to engage with openness, kindness, and respect. If you experience or witness any inappropriate behaviour, please inform a member of the team immediately.

Photography and video recording will take place during the event. If you prefer not to be included, please let the photographer or videographer know.

2) Networking Lunch

Between the two sessions, a vegetarian lunch will be served. The menu includes pumpkin soup; truffled potato terrine; vegetable croute with curly endive, goat’s cheese, and Swiss honey on beetroot carpaccio with a light walnut vinaigrette. Coffee and tea will be accompanied by mignardises.

If you follow a special diet or have allergies, please inform the production team in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.

3) Access to Schatzalp

Education House takes place at Hotel Schatzalp, accessed via a five-minute funicular ride. The funicular is free of charge for event participants and runs every 15 minutes during the day, and every 30 minutes from 19:00 onwards. Upon arrival, please follow signage to Ballroom 3.

Please note that heightened security is expected in Davos on Tuesday due to the presence of multiple heads of state. We recommend arriving early to allow time for security checks and potential queues at the funicular.

We look forward to welcoming you to Education House Davos 2026.
